Location: Departing Virgin Gorda
Today we woke up, had cereal for breakfast, and went
wakeboarding/waterskiing. We then motored over to Spanish Town, had
lunch, and prepared for departure from the BVI's. While waiting to
clear customs we sent postcards and bought snacks from the market for
our upcoming night passage. We had a light dinner, then departed
Virgin Gorda for Saba. We divided into two watch teams for the
passage, four hours on duty, four hours off. The passage was meant to
be 12 hours, however rain, wind, and high seas slowed us down and the
passage took 20 hours.
